Indi Davey – Physiotherapist

Biography

Sunshine Coast Physiotherapist Indi Davey is new to the team at Absolute Health in Mooloolaba and Nambour.

Indi graduated with BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy in 2019 from the University of the West of England, UK. She proceeded to work in a hospital for a couple years completing core rotations in: musculoskeletal, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory, care of the elderly, intermediate care and community. Along-side this Indi utilised her sports massage qualification attending sporting events, providing pre and post event massage, including working with international rugby teams. Before heading off to the French Alps to complete two ski seasons as a mobile massage therapist. Upon returning to England, Indi continued providing physiotherapy in the hospital and community setting, taking on the new challenges and responsibility of a senior physiotherapist.

Personal Experience

Indi is an active and adventurous individual with a love for the outdoors and all sports. Her passion for Physiotherapy was sparked at a young age when competing as a gymnast for many years and having personal experience of a range of sporting injuries, as well as caring for her disabled sister. Over the years she has played a vital role in sporting and multidisciplinary teams, developing core communication and teamwork skills. During her career so far as a Physiotherapist she has experienced a range of settings and demands, with the newest adventure being the big move to Australia, where she is keen to utilise previous experience and develop her skills working in a private clinic setting, while making the most of what the Sunshine Coast has to offer!
