Yes, we have two Sunshine Coast Physiotherapy Clinics. One in Mooloolaba and One in Nambour.
Unfortunatley, as with any health care modality, there are no guarantees that Chiropractic treatment will be effective. All of our Chiropractors, or any Chiropractor for that matter will do the best of their abilities to diagnose what is wrong, and provide the best evidence based treatment recommendations that they can.
Chiropractors are extreamly well trained to diagnose what is wrong with you, and almost just as importantly, when they believe they can’t and refer you elsewhere.
Our Physiotherapists are extremaly well trained and experienced. Unfortunatley while we can offer no guarantee (as with any health care profession), our Physiotherapists will do their best to diagnose and treat your condition with the most current evidence-based treatment available. Our Physiotherapists, or any Physiotherapist for that matter is trained to diagnose and recognise when they think they can help, and more importantly when they think that they can’t and who they can refer you to that may help you more.
There are no guarantees with Physiotherapy or Chiropractic, so unfortunately it would be dishonest, unethical (and actually illegal in Australia) to offer any guarantees in healthcare. What we can assure you is that we will do everything in our power to make sure we approach your issue with the highest level of professionalism and expertise possible. If we feel that we can’t help you, we will tell you and/or refer you to who we think will be able to. I feel this is one of the real benefits in our clinic, as we have found that the combined approach of Chiropractic and Physiotherapy often gets results when one alone may not.
At your initial consultation we will do a thorough consultation and examination. We will also take, or organise scans, xrays, ultrasounds, MRI’s ect if required. Once we have a correct diagnosis we can discuss the results and recommended management plan with you to get the best results. Unfortunately until we have formulated a diagnosis and a management plan it’s impossible to say how much treatment you will require.
In this situation you can decide for yourself, particularly if you have a preference to see one or the other.
If you don’t have a preference and would like us to advise you, please give our office a call and we can advise you. Our receptionists are usually very good at giving advise as to who you should see, but if you prefer we can have one of the practitioners give you a call (at no charge) to discuss your case.
Both medication, and conservative care (Chiropractic and Physiotherapy) has its place. It is best to discuss this with the practitioner in the clinic who can advise you on a case by case basis. We also work closely with your GP and/or specialist in these cases.
Yes, we use hicaps payments for on the spot health insurance payments, so you will only pay the gap. We are also the preferred provider for medibank, BUPA, AHM, HCF and many more. This means that by seeing the preferred provider you will pay a significantly lower gap.
Our Nambour Chiropractic and Physiotherapy clinic details are on this page.
