Biography

Originally hailing from Sydney, David graduated with a B.Science (Ex.Sc.) in 2003 from the University of Wollongong. During his development as a sports scientist, special interests in sports specific exercise protocols were gained at NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) which led him to explore a deeper understanding of the injuries involved in elite sport.

As a result of this journey, David furthered his studies completing a Master of Physiotherapy in 2006 from University of Sydney which enabled him to work within a multidisciplinary team at the Olympic Stadium of Sydney servicing national level hockey and gymnastics teams.

As an avid learner, David spent the previous 15 years in London (U.K.) working within sports specific medical practices specifically working alongside top orthopaedic surgeons and helping tend to all areas of pre and post operative rehabilitation for all clients. Further extensive experience was attained with Saracens/Harlequins Rugby Teams and coverage with Tottenham and Fulham Football Teams including the use of high end rehabilitation techniques.

David prides himself on attentive clinical care within all areas of physiotherapy across all age groups aiming for quality outcomes in order to maximise client satisfaction and recovery.

Personal Experience

David thrives in a team environment and has recently setup on the Sunshine Coast with his young family to further develop this team culture at Absolute Health.

David is a keen surfer and snowboarder but thoroughly enjoys all sports to gain further understanding in movement. All clients have a story to tell and a journey to ride which continues to fuel David’s focus within the health industry and maximise results for his clients.
