Geoff is one of the few practitioners in Australia dual-qualified as both a physiotherapist and an exercise physiologist, with more than a decade of clinical experience.
He graduated with a BSc in Physical Therapy in 2013 from P.U.C.E. University in Ecuador, then worked for several years using manual therapy and exercise to treat musculoskeletal injuries — back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot pain — as well as chronic disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, cancer rehabilitation and sports rehab for amateur and professional athletes. In 2017 he graduated as an Exercise Physiologist from the University of Sydney, adding strength-based rehabilitation to his practice.
Geoff also completed a diploma in sports rehabilitation with the Argentina Football Association and has worked across a wide range of sports — from the ATP tennis tour and PGA golf to Parramatta Two Blues rugby, the Ecuador golf federation, climbing, Ironman, cycling and running. He is also a trained vestibular physiotherapist, treating disorders of the vestibular (balance) system such as BPPV.
His experience with patients of all ages, from children to older adults, allows him to individualise every treatment, and he thrives working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Geoff consults from both the Mooloolaba and Nambour clinics.
Now settled on the Sunshine Coast, Geoff is a keen golfer, tennis and football player who enjoys the gym and a good coffee.
